Hello, I’m Lisa Skinner.
I am a behavioral specialist, two-time best-selling author, TEDx speaker, and founder of Dementia Authority. Over the past three decades, I have dedicated my career to translating the complex, unfamiliar language of dementia into practical, everyday solutions.
Having navigated cognitive decline across eight members of my own family, I know intimately the emotional and physical toll caregiving takes—especially on working adults caught between raising their children and managing an aging parent. I don’t believe in managing this crisis with generic advice.
